Muffin Menu Widget - Sub items on menu close when active page is sub-page

Hi, i´m using the Muffin Menu Widget option to display a side-bar menu. 

I have pages and sub-pages on the menu (had set them up on the wordpress menu builder). When im on a parent page that have childs, the menú shows correctly the active page with their sub-items, but when i enter a child page, the menu doesn´t show the "active" page. (the pages are correctly set as parent > child on the wordpress page editor)

This is confusing for users. 

How can i fix this issue?

Hello Muffingroup.

Thanks for replay.

The problem is the installation is an intranet an i can´t give you access for dashboard.

My problem: We use Muffin menu in sidebar. Settings are "Show on hover, Show allways active". We i click a menu-entry in the 3rd Level and the page is loaded, the menu collapsed completly and no menu-entry is selected.

Second we have another Problem. When changed the Settings to "Show on click". Now when we click an entry the page loaded, but the subentries aren´t visible. i must click the entry a second one and then i see the children. The Problem with the 3rd Level is also active.

Please help me...

@PCS2016 From your explanation, looks like you set it properly and without looking on it, we have no idea what might be the reason.
