Portfolio content included in search?

Can I just check that portfolio item content is included in search queries in the usual way (ie as all page & post content would be) in the way this theme is written?

I'm having great problems returning results of searches for content that is clearly in portfolio content.

Portfolio content cannot be indexed / queried?

We are sorry but we misunderstood your previous question. Of course portfolio content can be indexed/queried. If you open http://themes.muffingroup.com/betheme/?s=Quisque+lorem+tortor you see that the following item http://themes.muffingroup.com/betheme/portfolio-item/quisque-lorem-tortor/ is visible on search list. So if something is not listed on your end, it means that you are doing something wrong.
