featured image looks great as a banner with the sub header inside, but on mobile the image does not resize.

    Hey,

    if you mean css backgrounds, these won't be responsive until mobile devices will not start support for backgrounds. This is more technical issue between being responsive and css backgrounds and there is nothing we can do to change.
