Make Portfolio Featured Images Square

Hello,

I'm using the Architect template. Is it possible to make the portfolio featured images square, instead of rectangle? I tried changing the height and width to 400x400px in BeTheme Options > Blog, Portfolio & Shop > Featured Image > Blog and Portfolio. That made the images square, but it left a faint rectangular border of the previous default size around the images. So I believe it changed the image size but not the container size of the image? I have set the featured image back to default (rectangle) size, but you can see the page here: http://dev.josephpagacstudio.com/projects/

For anyone looking for a solution to this, I was able to get the portfolio featured images square by making the images 794x794 and selecting either Overlay or Slide Bottom in BeTheme Options > Global > Image Frame > Style . You can also make them 400x400, but only works with Overlay.
