Resizing of Images - Kept the height

Hi, 

by default the images resizes when the display resolution get smaller. Is it possible that images kept the height and the images cut from the edge to the middle?

Do you understand what i mean.?

Hi,

You have to set a static to height to the img, then it will only change the width, but it will not cut, it will get squished.
