Visual Composer gives fatal error upon activation

Dear BeTheme-Team,

since purchasing the theme a week ago I've been playing around and find the theme easy to use and intuitive.

Nevertheless, I seem to be running into a problem I can't overcome. Since the first time I installed the theme and widgets (including all demo material), when I tried to install Visual Composer I am getting an fatal error, namely:

I just updated the last version of BeTheme (full uninstall and install), which comes with version 4.3.5., but the problem is still here. The widget won't activate, which results in problems with the rendition of the Gallery and the customization of my site in general.

Please let me know how to fix the problem.

Hi!

Thanks for the answer, though it doesn't really address the reason for this "fatal error".

Should this mean that the reason is this already older version of Visual Composer?

If yes, what implications will those have?

Would you recommend your clients to spend the extra money to buy the widget?
Can this be the reason in the Agency demo, the gallery is not working?

We have no idea what you exactly did on your side but of course as you mentioned it could be also related with incomplete plugin. To update plugin, please check topics below:

I just installed the theme in a clean hosting folder and straight-away could NOT activate the widget.

Could you please address the 4 questions I shared above.

If you did what we wrote above and still won't work then we have completely no idea what is wrong on your side. Sorry!

Just to try and help others in my situation - just uninstall the composer fully from the theme and install it again by unzipping the theme's widget archive! Now it works perfectly!
