Custom order which file to edit?

Dear Muffin-Team,

I want to implement a custom order for portfolio list items. Normally its no problem, but I have no idea which file I need to edit or which hook to use or whatelse. Could you be so kind and point me in the right direction?

What you ask for, requires files customization what in reference to Item Support Policy is not allowed. So if you want to modify files and don't know how, you should contact with your web developer. Item Policy clearly says:

Hi, 

I do now HOW to modify files, but I can not figure out where or which file. So there is no way to add own ordering without customization? 

If not, you can not tell me which file I need to add customizations?
