same style.css included twice?

Hi,

I just checked the link to the stylesheets on intercultural-perspectives.com.

I saw, that the style.css of the child-theme is integrated 2 times.

<link rel='stylesheet' id='style-css'  href='http://intercultural-perspectives.com/wp-content/themes/betheme-child/style.css?ver=8.1' type='text/css' media='all' />

<link rel='stylesheet' id='mfn-child-style-css'  href='http://intercultural-perspectives.com/wp-content/themes/betheme-child/style.css?ver=4.7.5' type='text/css' media='all' />

The first version number seems to be the version of the Theme (in this case ver=8.1)
The version number of the second style.css (in this case 4.7.5) seems to be the current Wordpress Version.

Why is the same style.css (both have the same content) included twice? What is it for?

Hi,
This is the parent style css and the child css. Since they are not changed they stay the same.

but they are both in the betheme-child folder ... ?

and why are there two different versions (ver=8.1 and ver=4.7.5)

We do not know, this is a child theme and it is open for modification. We cannot know what the user does to his theme. Does this cause any problems?

we had a problem
my colleague downloaded the style.css from the child-theme-folder
it was empty
then he added 3 definitions and made an upload to the same folder
when i downloadet the style.css from this folder one week later, i saw, that there were only a few lines in it
but: the website still worked properly
that´s why we took a look into the sourcecode and saw, that the style.css was included 2 times and just thought, that this may be the problem

but if you say, this is normal, it´s ok for me
