I am trying to adjust the text colour and box colours of a form on our site, but can not seem to do this without amend the css. Is there a way this can be amended for 1 form only?

I forgot to add, the form is the one in the sidebar

Yes, you can use the css to amend to one form, just add a custom class or ID to the container and target the form with this class.
