Theme not recognizing any favicons

I thought it was working a week ago. I haven't installed any new plugins or anything either. It just doesn't work now for some reason.
Can you help?

    please disable all plugins and make sure that the favicon is an .ico file

    Ok, I deactivated all the plugins and it still is having the same results. Like I said, it was working about 3 weeks ago. I have not installed any plugins only building up my site. I have 2 graphic files that are both .ico files. One I uploaded 2 months ago and was working, and a recent one when I noticed that it wasn't working.
