BeTheme Child Theme after site has already been developed

I have a website already developed in BeTheme but the client has appointed an SEO "specialist" and I need to integrate tags and scripts on phone numbers etc. so I need the convert the existing (very large) site into a child theme so I can edit the php code.

Can you send me a link to instructions as to how to do this please?

Confirming, not a new site, not a new child theme installation. This is converting an existing site into a child theme.

Hi,

If you did not make any theme file changes then there is no need to use a child theme. If you want to use it, you can. The only real issue will be the widgets in the sidebars, you will have to add them again.
