How to put a hover on an image ?

Hello everybody, I have a BIG question and I cannot find the answer. Here is my blog : www.1st-squad.com. I want to put a simple effect hover the 3 button when you pass the mouse over them !  But I dont know what to write in the CSS of the image file ? Can you please help me ?

please use our image builer item. The images do not have a hover effect because they do not link to anything.
