Distance submenu item from main menu item

I have searched everywhere (in the css files) but cannot find how to (in the header navigation) make the dropdown distance of the submenu item from the main menu item smaller.

See screendump, in red i have tried to explain what I mean.
Can you tell me how to solve that?

Hi,
please go to theme options>global>logo and set the logo height blank and the padding to 0. This should help

This didn't work.  I need to remove the SPACE between the Main Menu Item and the Sub Menu Item.  How do I do that??
