Image Gallery - No navigation arrows appear

I'm having some problems with image galleries. In the past when a user clicks on an image gallery, the first image pops up and has navigation arrows on the left and right to allow the user to scroll through the gallery of images.

On this particular website, the navigation arrows to not appear.

Is there a setting or theme option I may have missed?
