Background color and boxed style

Hi. My website is http://fit-anny.com/ and I've got two questions.

1. How do I change the color of the right sidebar?

2. I want my posts to be in a boxed style but not the header with the menu etc. Is that somehow possible? Can I costumize the width of posts without changing the header?

1. You can use this css 

.widget-area:before {
    background: red !important;
}

2. Sorry but this is not possible.
