Pre-Built Website Header and Pages Problems

Hello,

I recently updated my BeTheme from version 4.0 to the latest and I am loving the new features and pre-built websites.

I installed the Be SnapShot website as it has been a while since I last used the Muffin Builder and wanted a template that I liked as a base for my website.

I have been able to modify and change everything so far with the exception of the pages that are displayed in the Header. New pages are not displayed, but existing pages can be modified and the changes update. I am using the Split Menu Header option.

I am also unable to figure out how to hide the home page from being listed in the Header (I would just like the logo to go to the home page) and how to remove the 'Buy Now" Page link that goes to the Envato BeTheme Page.

This is the second website I am using the theme for (the first website is no longer active) and I didn't receive any errors activating the code, but I don't recall deactivating the previous website. I'm not 100% sure this is linked to the above problems.

Just in case, the item purchase code is: 8d5a76c94d8

Thank you for your help!

Sincerely,
Chris Shannon

  • Hi,
what do you mean by "pages that are displayed in the Header", can you please send a link and point to what you exactly mean. Show us also on a screenshot if you can.

Please go to theme options>header&subheader>extras and change the action button. See here: http://prntscr.com/fb1egt
We sometimes also add the 'BUY NOW' button as the last menu item, be sure to go to apperance>menus and check there as well.
    thanks
  • Hello,

What I mean by "pages that are displayed in the Header" is that, with the Split Menu item selected, the number of pages shown in the Split Menu Header was fixed to three per side with the third on the left being the "Buy Now" option. I deleted the original pages after saving the Muffin Builder Templates and so now only the Buy Now 'page / link' shows with Split Menu Header Active.

Currently, I have eight(8) pages including the Home Page, but only the home page shows.

If I change the menu type to Stack Center then the pages show up, although very squished. How would I make the spacing of the pages take up the full width? With Full Width turned on and Sticky it only looks good when you scroll down, although it's not centered at that point.

*How do you keep the Stack Center Header centered when you scroll down??

I checked the action button as you showed, but that space is blank and the menus don't have anything in them at the moment.

    Thank you for your help!

  • Okay, this is what you need to do.
If you use the split header, then you must have two menus. One left and one right.
Go to appaerance>menus and create two menus, left and right.
Then go to manage locations and select the left and right menu from the dropdown.
    See screen: http://prntscr.com/hmd2a0
  • Perfect thank you!
