Increase PHP time limit

Hey, my website www.globaldesigners.dk is running really slow, i have tried to deactivate all plugins but still the same. 

I can se that the PHP Time Limit is 60 where you recommend 180. How can i increase this? 

I have tried to make a  .user.ini in my public folder, but this does not work. Any ideas?

Hi,
changing the time limit will not do anything when it comes to page loading. Please contact your hosting provider and let him check, this is no really a theme related issue.

Okay, but way does the website running slow? When I active another theme it seems to run just fine

Because your server is limited and it could not handle a big theme like BeTheme. Maybe your images are not optimizes, there are many various reasons why the page is loding slow. Our pre-built websites load very quickly so it is not a theme issue.
