I have extended the Menu bar, how can i bring the logo and menus to the centre now?

As you can see below, I have extended the menu bar and used a background for it. then I tried to use max height for my logo and gave it some top paddings. but as you can see the logo's bottom has been cut automatically.
is there any specific css code for that?
also I would like to bring down the menu items like home|about|get a quote| so that they can be fixed at the centre of the menu bar. how can i give them some top paddings with css?
