Unable to navigate back to main page from expanded blog entry

I am using a one page theme with a blog section that allows for the three most recent posts to be visible.  I can click on a post and read the entire article perfectly fine.  I cannot return to my site by using any of the menu buttons or the logo.  I only return to the blog section of my page with my footer beneath it.  If it matters my blog is the last section before my footer is visible on my one page theme.  Where should I begin looking?

please send a link to your blog.
Make sure you have set up the blog page correctly, you have to make a blog page, then go to settings>readng and set it as the posts page. The main blog page should not be filled with content, it will fill automatically.

I bypassed this by adding an image with a link back to the home page. Thank you for explaining that to me. I'll check for that.
