Hi, I changed my website a few days ago to betheme and still don't get how I can make the social media icons appear. There is only the text.

Please always attach a link so we can check it out. If the page is offline(localhost) then our help will be limited, you will have to contact us when the page is online. Also please make sure that the page is not under maintenance before you provide us the link.
It is always a good idea to also attach a screenshot, for that use services like snag.gy or pasteboard.co

it's online and you will see what I mean in the footer :-)

You have a menu set in appaerance>menus>manage locations.
If you set a footer social menu then it will replace the default social media icons.
