How to get rid of footer content

• How do I get rid of the footer content? I went to theme options > footer and none of the current copyright was there. 
• Also the logo only shows up sometimes on the header? why is that and how can I fix this?

Hi,
1. this is probably a widget inside a footer widget area in appaerance>widgets
2. Maybe you have some cache issues or a plugin is causing this?
