references to links

Hi, I managed to make my first website in a template from Betheme.
The content was made in the muffinbuilder, but now the website is online, the reader cannot see where links are. I know where they are, and if I click on them they do work.  Even Yoast does not detect them, and advices me to put links for better quotes.
In the general options : Betheme I did adjust colors for links and hover at several places, and also for content. You can see links by color changes in the footer, menu etc, but not in the area's with tekst.
Does anybody know why? or where adjustments need to be made.
Kind regards
Petra

  • Hi,
this could be just cache, please send us a link to this page.
    thanks
  • On different page are links, but here are 2:
It is nog obvious where the links are

  • We checked and every link works fine, it opens all the pages correctly http://prntscr.com/ixx5wy
    Please remove your browser cache.
    thanks
  • I know they work, and it is not my cache, but it is in the tekst:
    example in html code:

This is on my home page (http://www.pallasart.be), there are as you can see 2 links in this tekst area, but if you look on the page on the internet, you cannot see where the links are. In the theme links and hoover is adjusted to another color in the content.

Do you know what this problem could be, why the general settings in the themes doe not apply to tekst written in the muffun builder?

    Kind regards

  • Okay, I understand now. You should change the link color and hover in theme options>coolors>content
If you do not want to change it there, then you can declare it inline, like this:
    <a style="color:red; font-weight:bold" href="http://www.kunstroute-leuven.be/">KUNSTROUTE LEUVEN.</a>
  • Thanks for your answer, but the weird thing is that I did change it in the theme options, but for some reason it does not apply to text written in the muffinbuilder item "column".
That is why I don't understand it.

  • I changed it by hand now as you explained, so it is visible for the reader, but I still do want to understand why the theme options don't work in those items of muffin builder.
Same is true for Yoast, it keeps on telling me to put links for more visibility.
  • It could be some plugin, please disable all plugins and delete browser cache, then check again.
Any link in the content area should work with the colors set in theme options>colors>content - link
    thanks
