Client accidentally updated theme which lost me all my edits.

I'm building a website for a client of mine. I gave someone access to edit the pages, however that person updated BeTheme, which caused me to lose all my customization. I know now that I should have used a child theme, so there is a two way blame here. But is there a way I can get those files back? It's about two months of work. I updated for example the PHP in the theme header, and the shortcodes heavily. Please tell me it's not all gone.

Just saw ur post by chance, i dont work for betheme just another user. I would look for backups, hosting provider often have autobackup feature which can be accessd trough the login area of the hosting package. There u could try to get the themes folder back. But u should hurry becouse my hoster for example has only the last 7 days in the backup.
