Change width for each mega menu

Hi

I have 6 menu points. Each one has about 4-10 submenus. All only one-column. But I want to make a megamenu, because I want to add a background image. But therefore my 1-column dropdown menu should only has the width 300px. But the mega menu is the whol site width.

I can add a css class on each menu item. But I don't know what css style I had to change.

if we think about the same, then this won't be possible. But if you will make a screenshot of current website with necessary changes, we can have a look to be sure if this can be done or not.
