Yoast SEO not working for WooCommerce Catalogue (Products) page

Yoast SEO plugin does not work for WooCommerce default Catalogue (Products) page - It works fine on every other page including single products and product category pages, but not the default page - Not sure if this is a problem with BeTheme, WooCommerce or Yoast?

    Yes, we heard about this problem but as we know, this problem is between Yoast and WooCommerce plugins.

    Thanks for the reply, and it is indeed with Yoast and I stumbled upon a solution that I thought I'd share with you to pass on:

    This simple solution worked for me:

    Go to (Yoast) "SEO" > "Titles & Meta's"
    Click on the "Post Types" Tab
    Scroll to the bottom and find "Custom Post Type Archives" and enter your SEO title and SEO Description under the Products fields

    Your products landing page will now show the correct SEO info - This hack doesn't affect my other single product pages and product category pages, and worked perfect for me.

    I presume this oversight is intentional from Yoast as there is a "PREMIUM" Yoast WooCommerce SEO that fixes this "perfectly" hmmmmm ;)
