How so I stop the image moving upward in portfolio grid and remove portfolio left and right popout.

Hi I have a question around the portfolio grid format, i would like to stop the image moving up slightly when you hover your mouse over it and just have the image static but still clickable. 

Not sure how to adapt this with CSS. 

One other thing I would like to change is when you are on an individual portfolio page I would like to keep the left and right arrows on the bottom left and right of a page but remove the bits that pop out when you hover over them

Any advice would be amazing!
