Colors not Adjusting for Button and Footer formatting

I am trying to change the colors for a few elements on the site and can't seemingly get them to adjust. I know the "Hire Us" button on the IT theme should allow me to change it to black in the "Header Right Side" however I can't get them to change colors.

Am I looking in the wrong selection or is it being overwritten somewhere?

Secondly, I'd like to omit the "Recent Comments", Archives, and everything below that in the footer, where do I achieve this?

To change text color of action button, you must use below css:

#Top_bar a.button.action_button { color: #000 !important; }

But to omit all these stuff in footer, you must remove them from Appearance > Widgets section.
