Corrupt installation

Hi,

I have a corrupt installation of Woocommerce and the Betheme shop content with duplicate Woocommerce pages (cart, checkout, my account and shop) and duplicate LH sidebars on each of these pages.

How can I rectify this?

Hi,

we have no idea what you did but if you want to clear whole wordpress, you can use WordPress Reset plugin.

Thanks, The reset helped and I installed all plug-ins and the woocommerce plug-in before importing Betheme 'Shop' demo content.

I now have 3 pages of 'cart, checkout, my account and shop' in the pages section of wordpress - is this correct?

It depends what demo you imported. If you will send us url to site where you imported demo, we can have a look on it.

Ok, now it works. As we see you are working on your site already because you change some elements. The only element left is footer which does not work good. This can be sorted under Appearance > Widgets section.

My problem is that there are 3 pages of 'cart, checkout, my account and shop' in the pages section of wordpress, surely there should only be one of each page.

You got 3 because you imported demo content 3 times for sure. While next import, old pages never removes. If you want to do clean installation, before each installation, you should use https://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-reset/

I used the reset plugin to perform clean installation.

I then installed all the required plugins and selected Betheme as the wordpress theme.

I next installed woocommerce and setup the 4 pages (cart, checkout, my account and shop).

I then installed your demo content for the 'Shop' version of the Betheme.

After importing the 'Shop' demo content there are now 3 sets of pages for cart, checkout, my account and shop.

I come back again to my original question - why are there duplicate pages?

If you expect the answer on your question only then we got only one answer - we have no idea. We imported the same demo on our side and pages are not duplicated so there must be something wrong on your side. Maybe something wrong happen while import on server side. If you did everything the way as it was described on http://forum.muffingroup.com/betheme/discussion/1064/how-to-re-create-one-of-full-demo-pages-betheme-demo-data, pages shouldn't be duplicated.

I used the demo import option in 'Appearance / Betheme import demo data section.

Selected 'Demo' in the import option and 'Shop' in the demo - pre-made layout. Clicked 'import attachments' checkbox.

So you did everything right. We are thinking about what you wrote and we think that we know where the problem is. We think about point 3:

in our opinion you should only install WooCommerce plugin but without these 4 pages because pages comes with step 4 when you import Be|Shop demo. This must be the reason why those pages are duplicate.

OK - I used reset and performed clean installation.

Setup the Betheme and installed the plugins.

Installed woocommerce but NOT the pages setup.

Imported the betheme 'Shop' demo content.

I now have 2 pages of 'cart, checkout, my account and shop'.

Can I just delete the extra pages?
