How to add space

I am trying to add a photo box and have a space above it but i dont see how to do this. within the full width section I am using an image as a background and then I have added photo boxes, what I am trying to do is add a gap above and below the photo boxes within the section so I keep the same background.

Can you help please

Did you tried to use <br /> tag?

Thank you for your reply. I had bought visual composer which  has the option rather than putting lots of <?br> in Doing that doesnt define an exact pixel size and is a very long winded way to go about adding something as simple as a gap.
