Problem: Wordpress menu order by drag and drop not working

I have the problem that in the WP backend the drag and drop functionality (adding and sorting new menu items) is not working. I can only drag a menu item sorted below (nested inside) another item. It's not possible to put it on the same level or above...
I tried to deactivate all plugins, but the only thing that worked was to deactivate the BeTheme. Hm, thats no solution
My google research showed that this is some common jQuery-issue. Sadly I can't find the part of the code that is responsible for this problem...
Any help here is very appreciated!

Edit: I just found out that is seems to be a child-theme related issue. When I activate the parent theme the problem disappears... Hm, but how could this be solved for a child theme?

Hi,

this sounds like files are corrupted. We recommend to update theme and wordpress files via FTP only because it's the safest method and we hop this will help because we have no idea what else could be the problem.

Ok. I figured out that this issue only shows up on Firefox on Mac... I use G Chrome now, that works fine!

Did you made updates as we wrote above? Because we checked this on our side and everything works fine on 100%.
