Image not resizing to fit div when on ipad or mobile device

first profile pic image on the left is not resizing to fit div when on mobile devices. Any ideas?

What do you mean it does not resize? Can you show some screenshots? It resizes correctly here.

Okay but how would the picture resize then ? It resizes normally.

I don't know the answer. All I know is what I am trying to accomplish, that is no large white spaces.

How would this work? Unless you deform the photo it is not possible.
