Do you have to renew the theme annually

Dear Sirs,

I bought a theme from you about 6 months ago which is currently applying to a website of mine. I have 2 questions:

1) Do I have to pay for the theme every year in order to keep it active?

2) I am thinking of shutting down my website and starting a new website. If I do this, will I have to purchase a new theme from you guys or can I simply use the theme that I have already bought?

Hello,
1. Only the support period ends, you can extend it on the themeforest betheme page. The license and updates are lifetime so you do not have to worry.
2.If you want to shut down your website and use the theme on a new project you can. What version of the theme you are using?

Thanks. Im not sure what version, I think I bought it last year... why do you ask?

If it is version 20.0 or up you will need to deregister the license key in the dashboard. This is why I asked so you will not have problem with regiistration later.

Okay, what is the reason that I would have to deregister the license key? What happens if I do not do this?

You will not be able to register it again on a new domain, but like I said before, you need version 20.0 or up. If you are using an older version you can just simply remove the theme.
