Cannot deregister theme

I moved my website from the test site to the live site (oneill.wpengine.com to oneill.enterprises), and I cannot deregister the theme so that I can change the domain. I also cannot update the theme until I do this process. I have tried deleting the theme from the FTP before deregistering, but it is not working.
