homepage video link for vegetables theme

I am editing homepage of vegetables theme for a client. She does not have a vimeo account only youtube.

Added an item as image and under LINK you will see "zoomed image" where I pasted the youtube link but only see black box appearing, video not playing. See:

The original vegetable betheme used vimeo and pasted the link on the "zoomed image" box and it is working. Mine is not working because it is youtube?? Please help!

Hi,

Sorry, but youtube link won't work with image item.

You can use a video item instead, it will work very similiar.

I tried to replace 'image' item to 'video' item like you advised.

Kindly suggest how can I make this video insert possible under Homepage just like in the original Vegetable Betheme.

Sorry, I was wrong.

You can use a image with youtube and it should work.

Look how I set it up and it works.

Can you disable all of the plugins?

If this won't work, please send us WordPress dashboard access privately thru the contact form which is on the right side at http://themeforest.net/user/muffingroup#contact and we will check what might be the reason.

Hey,

we looked at your page and it looks like you were pasting the short youtu.be link. Please past the full youttube link. We changed it on your main page and now it works fine.
