Change menu icon for mobile view
  • If you want to change menu icon foe mobile view into "Menu" text for example, you need to modify includes/header-top-area.php file. All you need to do is replace below line:

    <a class="responsive-menu-toggle" href="#"><i class='icon-menu'></i></a>

    with:

    <a class="responsive-menu-toggle" href="#">Menu</a>

    and in Theme options > Layout > Custom CSS section you need to put below css:

    #Header a.responsive-menu-toggle { width: 55px; }

  • Where do I locate this file after installing the Cake zip file on my server? I can find it on my own computer, but have been working with the site online the whole time.
  • @muffingroup Hi, I am trying to do the last step in Theme Options.. But I am not exactly certain where to put the code? I have the Menu say just "Menu" right now, but there is a white box around it that is too skinny. www.pg12.se. Any ideas?
  • @muffingroup I have added it, but probably in the wrong way then.. Can you show me a screenshot of where exactly? Sorry for not understanding..

    Also, I wanted to ask one more thing. So if I click on my client logos I come to a broken page. When I have added the Clients (new client on the left menu), there was a place for me to type their website, which I did. How come it doesn't point to the correct website when I click their logo?
  • @muffingroup Thanks for the clarification on http://. Regarding the Custom CSS. I understand what you have written, I have read it many times. And I have tried to paste the code wherever I can find Custom CSS within the Theme Options.php in Editor. And it doesn't work. So I must be doing something wrong. What I am asking for is some guidance - can you provide a screen shot of exactly where I should paste it? You can send an email (you find the contact info on my web) www.pg12.se
