can't make the shopping cart disappear completely from the header

Hi - I really like the Museum theme and am using it for a new design for a nonprofit museum. I use woocommerce to list items that are for sale as a catalogue, but not to actually purchase online at this time. I can't get the shopping cart icon in the top right of the header to disappear completely. I was able to remove the shopping cart itself, but the number that shows the quantity in the cart still shows. I can hide most of it behind the action button, but not entirely, so it looks pretty silly.

Hi Stephanie,

to get rid of the shopping cart in header, you need to remove cart icon under Theme options > Blog, Portfolio & Shop > Shop section.

Hi - I have the "add to cart" option turned off, and I also have a [space] instead of the icon, as per your documentation. Like I said, it's not the shopping cart that is visible in my header, but a little box with a 0 in it.

The site is now live, can you please take a look and you'll see what I'm referring to.

Ok, we see what you mean now. To remove that little box with the number of products in cart, you can use custom css:

#Top_bar a#header_cart { display: none !important; }

We will fix it with next theme update as well if above option does not work as supposed to work.
