BeTheme won't update: package does not contain any files?

edited February 2018 in Updates & Changelog
Dear Muffin Group,

I am using BeTheme version 20.6.4 for a client of mine since October last year for the website www.clausplakplek.nl.
I have registered this theme, but when I start the update it failed.

It says: An error occurred while updating Betheme: The package can not be installed. This package does not contain any files..

What can I do to update correctly?

Kind regards,
Irne

  • Hi,
This error "The package could not be installed. The package contains no files." could mean that you have not deregistered the website before moving. Please deregister it on both domains and register again on the new one. Also plugins may be responsible for this so please disable all of them and check again. If this does not help, then please send a request
thru the contact form which is on the right side at http://themeforest.net/user/muffingroup#contact

  • Hi,

Thank you for your answer. You're right, it was still registered on the test-site.
