Rev slider stopped working and update doesn't work

We are working on a local server with betheme and suddenly the slider dissapeared, i checked on the details of the plugin and it required an update. So i tried to update the plugin (from betheme's install plugin option and the standard WP plugins page) and didn't work. Also i figured out the link printed while updating the plugin doesn't work (http://api.muffingroup.com/plugins/download.php?code=c1348d00-eff .........) the plugin remains active but it's not present on wordpress admin menu at all and either on the frontend

So my big concern is this: Is the rev slider plugin supposed to stop working just because it wants an update? if things are like this this theme/plugin is completely unusable for a production site.

i tried disabling all the plugins and cleaning the browser cache as proposed to another issues like mine but didn't work

Hi,

Please unistall Revolution Slider (or via ftp rename folder of RSlider) and install it again.
