I have just updated Betheme to version 28.4.1, and immediately after the update my website started showing the message:

"There has been a critical error on this website."

This happened right after the theme update. Before that, the website was working normally.

At the moment, the frontend shows only the critical error screen. Please advise what could cause this and what is the safest way to restore the website without losing any content or theme settings.

- Theme version: 28.4.1

- WordPress version: [6.9.4]

- PHP version: [8.3.6]

- Child theme: [no]

- Active plugins: [Slider Revolution, WP Mail SMTP, Duplicate Page, Contact Form 7]

Please let me know:

1. whether this issue is already known in version 28.4.1,

2. whether I should temporarily roll back to the previous Betheme version,

3. and whether there is any recommended fix or patch.

The client's site suddenly changed; the Betheme logo and styles were no longer displaying correctly. I can't say for sure if this issue arose after an update. What could be causing the client's logo and the site's appearance to suddenly change?

I've now updated all plugins and the theme and upgraded the PHP version to the latest version, but unfortunately the content is still displaying incorrectly.

This worked just fine, but after the last theme update i get an error message.

Strange thing is that the plugin still works.

I did some trouble shooting:

1 - disabled all plugins, did not work

2 - updated all plugins and theme, did not work

3 - change the theme to storefront and the message was gone.

So that made me think the issue is within the BeTheme. The error show on top of the page after a reservation. But the product is added to the cart and you can go to checkout. But visitors think because of the error message that the product is not availeble.

The message says: Sorry, this quantity is not available

What can i do?

Also when I try to login into WordPress to get access to to my site, I can't and if I want to update to the new version, doesn't allow me and in both cases show me this error message "Upload error: Unknown error"

Also if I do any change on any page of my site, and I want to save those changes, but it won't save them.

I need to solve this problem, so I appreciate any help.

I notice that my betheme license key keeps getting deactivated, presumably because the english domain is licensed and the german domain gets flagged by your automated systems.

Is there any way to fix this and stop it from happening, as I notice parts of the bebuilder section import also report that the site is not licensed when trying to use pre-built sections.

I have enough licenses for my sites, I ended up buying 2 per site, just in case it was required, but need it to not continuously require re-authorisation and find a way to get import sections working from the other language also so I can edit pages easily.

Can i register two license keys on a single site to stop this from happening? one for each language?

The ENG is displayed right, but the ITALIAN isn't loading.

1) Menu item. On ipad, there's a + button for submenu but on desktop, there's none. Hence submenu is not working.

2) review element shows up and works on ipad but does not show up at all on desktop.

I am trying to determine why. For now we replaced it with the word "and", but would prefer to go back to "&" if we can get it resolved.

When I test the site on Google PageSpeed Insights (mobile), I get a very low score (54).

Main issues reported:

• First Contentful Paint: 5.5s
• Largest Contentful Paint: 9.9s
• Speed Index: 10.4s
• Render-blocking resources
• Unused CSS and JavaScript
• Large LCP element

Desktop score is much better, but mobile performance is very poor.

I am currently using Betheme without heavy external plugins.

I would like to understand:

1. Are there recommended Betheme performance settings for mobile?
2. Should I enable CSS/JS minification inside Theme Options?
3. Is there a recommended cache plugin compatible with Betheme?
4. Does Betheme generate large unused CSS by default?
5. What is the best way to optimize LCP when using Betheme?

The navigation menu doesn't work in the Romanian language and when I go down on the page certain sections do not appear like the testimonials and client logos. Also on the portfolio section when I click see more the page refreshes instead of seeing more articles. Furthermore, there is no dropdown to change the language. We have created various CPTs and are running WPML. As we are in development we are testing all sorts of components but we found an interesting issue. I will outline it step by step as it was easy to reproduce regardless of how we created the CPT.

1. We create a standard CPT either using ACF or manually through PHP (No Problem)
2. We create a test post (Displays as it should)
3. We go to the BeBuilder Templates and see the CPT there with the archive and single post item (No Problem)
4. We then create a template and set the conditions to properly capture only single posts for the template (Works without Issue)
5. We enable WPML default setting (No Problem)
6. We update the Template in BeBuilder for the CPT (Problem: The post now reverts back to a standard single post layout as used in blog posts with the next and previous post functions etc. as set under Theme Options)
7. We re-apply the template, then clear caches and permalinks (No Change the issue persists and template is not applied)
8. We clear the BeBuilder History and recreate the CSS, as well as clear the Cache under Performance. (The Issue Persists)
9. We de-activate WPML (The Issue Persists)
10. We re-apply the BeBuilder Template (Now the post type shows again with the appropriate template applied)
11. We re-activate WPML (The post type still shows with the appropriate template and formatting)
12. We update the BeBuilder Template (Problem: The post reverts again to the standard single post template)

We have troubleshot this multiple ways such as removing all additional plugins, including disabled plugins as well as uninstalling and reinstalling WPML just in case an error occurred there. Always with the same result. We checked our debug and php error logs and have no entries when this error occurs which is creating a bit of a headache for us.

Updated: BeBuilder Data Storage is set to Serialized.

Updated: WPML is set to have each language under a subfolder so domain.com/es/ or domain.com/fr/

I am trying to add a sidebar menu for the blog page. When I follow the instructions to add a sidebar, it does not display in the screen to add widgets.

Additionally, I am try to create a custom template for the blog page. When I select the query loop option and add dynamic data, the post stack. I do not see an option to create columns. I also do not see an option for page navigation or load more.

Please advise.
