Two questions:

1. The menu at the top has hover effect on at all times. How do I change it so that only the link that is live is highlighted (these are all anchors within one page)?
2. I would like to add a booking plugin to the page just under the hero section. You can see an example of it on this test site: https://6a592d25204d59fc7d31c989--heartfelt-pithivier-5eb9b4.netlify.app/ I've looked at plugins like those seen here: https://wordpress.org/plugins/tags/hotel-booking/ Do you recommend one over another? And how would I integrate it into my new site with our theme?

We are seeing a recurring PHP fatal error on tag archive pages on a current installation of Betheme.

Example affected URL:

The visible page mostly renders, including the footer, but then WordPress displays:

There has been a critical error on this website.

Our our hosting access logs show these tag-page requests returning HTTP 500, including anonymous/incognito browser requests. Standard pages and posts appear to load normally.

The PHP error is:

PHP Fatal error: Uncaught TypeError: Illegal offset type
in /wp-content/themes/betheme/functions/theme-functions.php:1191

The stack trace points to Betheme’s footer code calling:

mfn_addons_ID('popup')

from footer.php, so it appears to occur while Betheme is checking popup/addon conditions during footer rendering.

Relevant code near the reported line includes logic based on the queried object:

$queried_obj = get_queried_object();

if( isset($queried_obj->term_id) ){

We initially suspected Popup Builder, but when all Betheme popup entries were set to Draft.and we cleared the host's cache and temporarily disabled the separate WPLP Compliance footer/cookie-popup plugin. The tag-archive fatal continued.

Environment:

• WordPress: 7.0
• Betheme: 28.5.3
• PHP: 8.1

Could you please advise:

1. Is this a known Betheme issue involving tag/taxonomy archives and mfn_addons_ID('popup')?
2. Is there a supported fix, update, or safe workaround?
3. Could a corrupted/stale Betheme option or addon setting cause the popup lookup to run even when all popup posts are drafts?
4. Is there a recommended way to disable only this popup-addon lookup on taxonomy archives until a permanent fix is available?

We can provide the full error-log entries and matching access-log entries if helpful.

I embedded an email list sign-up form into my website and it is not displaying correctly - the form fields and boxes are too narrow and padding is removed. See https://www.nevegfest.org/interest/. I connected with Mailchimp and was told that the issue is with the site - specifically "something in the site stylesheets of the website is applying styles outside of the ones that MC applies to the embedded form." Can someone help me resolve this?

Since the last update, I’ve been having two problems with my website (www.earls-lane.de):

First: The booking calendar, which I embedded via an external HTML link, isn't displaying; only the heading and the "powered by" text appear.

Then I tried clearing the cache and deactivating the plugins, but that didn't solve the HTML issue.

However, another problem has arisen: I can no longer activate one of the plugins (Cost Calculator Builder)—it's showing a fatal error.

Can you help me with this?

When I check the license, this is the message I receive, even though I just purchased it.

I am using Betheme templates and dynamic post meta fields to display CPTs on my site. Any line breaks added to WSIWYG fields do not appear on the posts. I found a workaround by adding <br> tags with the field in text mode. However, if I toggle the field to visual, the code is stripped.

Our developer looked into a potential WordPress or ACF issue and here are his findings:

• ACF saves the value correctly in the database, including the HTML (<br> tags).
• A standard WordPress template/PHP output renders the content correctly.

• The issue only occurs when the content is rendered through the BeTheme template used for this CPT.

The Insert Button for Images in Media Gallery is not visabale in all my cient websites since the newest Wordpress Update. On new Websites and also in older ones. Do you know, how to fix this?

There are no issues with any other plugins, I already deactivated unnecessary plugins.

We want to show multiple markers on a single map using a loop of dynamic data.

I'm using portfolio grid to shop a list of doctors with their speciality and contact information. I have also added a filter by category. My portfolio has 140 items (doctors).

A SEO spam injection was identified on our WordPress sites where we use BeTheme. One is only one month old, only plugin is WP-rocket.

Multiple live pages contained a hidden backlink block directly before the closing </body> tag. The injected links pointed to external spam domains, including:

topsalesconsulting.com/cazadores

pmx.com.pk

isris.org

The visible anchor texts included casino-related terms such as:

SLOT THAILAND

The source was found in the active WordPress theme file footer.php. A malicious PHP snippet had been inserted directly before </body>:

This code dynamically fetched backlink content from bibitgroup.org and printed the response into the frontend HTML.

After removing the injected code and clearing the WordPress/WP Rocket cache, a follow-up live check showed that the known spam links were no longer present on the tested pages, including the homepage, /kontakt/, /arbeitsrecht/, /mietrecht/, and /impressum/.

A related SEO spam pattern was also observed on another page, including a suspicious AMP association in Google Search Console pointing to:

I have created a general contact form in Contact form 7 and it is sending the emails just fine, but they never arrive at my inbox. I get the success message that says "Your message was sent successfully. Thanks". And then the message shows up in Flamingo. However, it never arrives in my inbox. I am using both the form and the Mail 2 option with both set to use HTML content. The email that the form is sent to is a different one than the email that form 2 is sent to, so I don't think it's an issue with my email address because neither form is received (contact form or mail 2 form)

I have been using Contact Form 7 for over 10 years on a variety of hosts (although not on this particular one so I don't know if it's related to the host) and I have never had an issue with the email not sending. It always just works! Can you please point me in the right direction to solve this issue?

In the header image, I have five elements below the slider that are linked to the corresponding section below via the hook #leistungen. 

I used the “Offer thumb” element, and that works perfectly fine for my first element at the top.

But when I click on the second item at the top (x2.), the image from the first offer appears again under “Leistungen.” I'd like to see the image from the second one, though. Like this:

It's exactly the same with the third item. When I click on x3. at the top, the screen jumps to “Leistungen” but shows the first offer again. It should look like this instead:

Is there a way for me to see the right offer right away under “Leistungen”?

The main color of my theme is #901515. I'd like the button color in the contact form to be the same. Please tell me how I can change that.

I have just updated Betheme to version 28.4.1, and immediately after the update my website started showing the message:

"There has been a critical error on this website."

This happened right after the theme update. Before that, the website was working normally.

At the moment, the frontend shows only the critical error screen. Please advise what could cause this and what is the safest way to restore the website without losing any content or theme settings.

Website details:

- Theme version: 28.4.1

- WordPress version: [6.9.4]

- PHP version: [8.3.6]

- Child theme: [no]

- Active plugins: [Slider Revolution, WP Mail SMTP, Duplicate Page, Contact Form 7]

Please let me know:

1. whether this issue is already known in version 28.4.1,

The client's site suddenly changed; the Betheme logo and styles were no longer displaying correctly. I can't say for sure if this issue arose after an update. What could be causing the client's logo and the site's appearance to suddenly change?

I've now updated all plugins and the theme and upgraded the PHP version to the latest version, but unfortunately the content is still displaying incorrectly.
