After updating Betheme from 27.6.2 to 28.5.9.1, the WooCommerce list toolbar on our Shop and category pages stopped being output. It looks like a regression for Shop templates whose type is shop-archive.

Site / versions

• Site: https://lotsandcrates.co.za (licence registered to this domain; purchase code available privately on request)
• Betheme 28.5.9.1 (parent) with Betheme Child 2.0 (stock child theme), BeCustom 1.0.5.3 (white label: menu/slug "lc")
• WordPress 7.1.1, PHP 8.3.30, WooCommerce 10.4.4, Slider Revolution 6.6.9

What happened

1. Before the update (27.6.2), the Shop and category pages showed the toolbar: "Show 10/20/40/60", layout toggle, Filters button and active filters. Sorting and result count were hidden by our own override, described below.
2. Immediately after updating to 28.5.9.1, the whole toolbar was gone on desktop and mobile.
3. I then ran the "BeBuilder Data Updater" (Update Database) that appeared after the update (the same action as Tools → CSS update). It completed ("Done") and the notice cleared. The toolbar is still missing.

Evidence

• Theme Options → Shop → Products list has sorting, layout, per-page and active filters set to Show, and results count set to Hide. Unchanged.
• The Shop template (post 129, "Shop template") is unchanged. Its Shop products element still has the same shop-list-* settings and post meta (mfn-shop-list-layout/perpage/active-filters = visible, sorting/results-count = hidden).
• The markup is absent from the rendered HTML, not merely hidden by CSS. There is no .mfn-woo-filters-wrapper, .shop-filters, .mfn-woo-list-options, .woocommerce-ordering or .woocommerce-result-count element in the page source. They were present in the 27.6.2 source.
• That Shop template's type is shop-archive (meta mfn_template_type).
• In functions/theme-woocommerce.php (28.5.9.1), the toolbar hooks on woocommerce_before_shop_loop: mfn_woo_products_list_filter_wrapper_start (priority 5), mfn_woo_products_list_options (20) and mfn_woo_products_list_filter_wrapper_end (35). They only output when $mfn_tmpl_type is in array('shop', 'archive-product', 'default'). shop-archive is not in that list, although the same file (around line 335) still treats shop-archive as a valid template type.
• As a result, sorting, result count, per-page selector, layout toggle, Filters and active filters are all absent.
• We have a small snippet ("Snippet 22") that only un-hides the sorting and results count elements. It controls visibility only, so it cannot restore markup Betheme no longer outputs.

Questions

1. Is shop-archive still a supported Shop template type in 28.5.9.1?
2. If yes, is its omission from the toolbar-rendering condition a regression, and will it be fixed in an upcoming release (or is there a supported patch or filter meanwhile)?
3. If shop-archive has been superseded, what is the officially supported migration path for an existing Shop template (for example re-typing it to archive-product, or rebuilding it with the new Filters/Advanced Filters elements)? Does it need any data update beyond the BeBuilder Data Updater already run?

I have not changed the Shop template, its type, Theme Options or Betheme files. A full backup exists. I can provide WordPress dashboard access privately if you need to inspect it.

After analyzing the html code with Chrome Developer Tool, apparently the page that BeBuilder generates has a missing condition in the Empty cart section so it would hide when no items are in the cart.

I have been struggling with this problem the whole week, please I need assistant for this issue.

After installing PayPhone plugin, I'm experiencing huge headers in page segments and also broken forms.

I deactivated BeTheme and the problem gets fixed. So I'm guessing the issue is due to some kind of conflict between both the theme and the plugin.

I'm running into a bug I believe is caused by a conflict between BeTheme/BeBuilder and WooCommerce, specifically involving Grouped Products.

Setup:

- Theme: BeTheme, version 28.5.3

- Builder: BeBuilder

- WordPress version: 7.0

- WooCommerce version: 10.9.4

- Site: https://kobin.cloudaccess.host

Issue:

I have a WooCommerce Grouped Product whose child products are Simple Products with "Sold Individually" enabled. Because of that setting, WooCommerce renders a checkbox for each child product instead of a quantity number field (this is standard WooCommerce behavior for sold-individually items in a grouped product).

Visually, the checkboxes work fine — I can click them and they appear checked. However, when I click "Add to Cart," WooCommerce always shows the error "Please choose the quantity of items you wish to add to your cart," even with boxes visibly checked.

I dug into this with Chrome DevTools and found that the checkbox's underlying `checked` DOM property does not change when clicked — it appears stuck, and the value WooCommerce reads for validation never actually updates, even though the checkbox looks checked on screen.

I confirmed this is theme-related: when I temporarily switched to a default theme (Storefront), the exact same Grouped Product worked correctly — checkboxes functioned normally and Add to Cart succeeded. Switching back to BeTheme reproduces the bug immediately. I've ruled out plugin conflicts (tested with all non-essential plugins deactivated) and WordPress/WooCommerce core versions (fully updated, bug persists).

Given that switching only the theme resolves it, this points to a BeTheme or BeBuilder script that's intercepting the checkbox click (likely for custom styling) without properly updating the checkbox's real checked state, which WooCommerce's own validation script then reads as unchecked.

Is this a known compatibility issue with WooCommerce Grouped Products + Sold Individually child products? If there's a fixed script version or recommended workaround, I'd really appreciate it — happy to provide screenshots, a screen recording, or DevTools console/element details if that's helpful.

Is it possible to only show relevant filter options that match the current category?

For example, one category may be for shoes and want to show a "brand" filter.

I'd like only brands that are assigned to products in "shoes" to appear here... not ones that don't make shoes that are in use for clothing.

Right now, an option to filter by brand is showing, but clicking on it shows no results. The option would be best excluded to avoid this poor UX.

Also... could we have the below options moved from the overall element into the individual filters? It would be good to have control of each one to show/hide:

Finally, where there's a "See more", can we have control over whether this shows on a per-filter level?

I have set the include refer to the specific category but don't work.

The online store is up to date in terms of the theme. However, the dashboard displays a message stating that I am using outdated copies of some WooCommerce template files. The affected templates are listed: 

The list is very long, and to be honest, I'm not sure what to change. I also don't know how. Could you please take a look at it and give me some advice?

I just bought another BeTheme licence in order to create a shop with woocommerce. I see that woocommerce is already builded in but I have an error saying:

Your theme (Betheme) contains outdated copies of some WooCommerce template files. These files may need updating to ensure they are compatible with the current version of WooCommerce. Suggestions to fix this:

1. Update your theme to the latest version. If no update is available contact your theme author asking about compatibility with the current WooCommerce version.
2. If you copied over a template file to change something, then you will need to copy the new version of the template and apply your changes again.

and in red with  Version 10.1.0 is out of date. The core version is 10.8.0

I am currently using your Clothing 3 template and setting up Google Tag Manager (GTM) for my store. I am running into a critical issue where e-commerce tracking is broken, and I suspect it is due to missing standard WooCommerce hooks in the template layout or something?

The Issues:

1. Ecommerce evens Do Not Fire: In GTM Preview mode, no e-commerce events trigger when a product page loads. The data layer completely lacks the standard object for product views.
2. add_to_cart is Inconsistent:
   • When I click the mini-cart widget in the upper right corner, the add_to_cart event fires correctly.
   • However, when I am directly on a product page and click the main "Add to Cart" button, the event does not fire at all.

What I Have Already Tried:

• I am currently testing the setup via Google Site Kit.
• To isolate the issue and avoid conflicts, I completely deactivated Google Site Kit and tried inserting my GTM Container ID and Tag Snippet directly into the SEO Page settings provided by your theme. Unfortunately, tracking still did not work through that method, so I empty them all and reactive the google sit kit.

Because the mini-cart widget works but the main product page doesn't, so I am quite confused, and I tried a lots of ecommerce tags such as purchase, begin_checkout, view_cart, add_payment_info and so on, did not work as well.

I have a template set up for the store's home page with a condition - Include > All archives

I also have a template for the product categories with a condition - Include > All categories

I have a search field that is set up to search only in products. I am looking for products that are certainly available and Live Search finds them, BUT:

In Live Search, after pressing the - Show All button - the store's home page loads, the template that I made and there are no search results. I dont whant results in mobile Sidbar, but on page.

The same thing happens when I turn off Live Search, enter a search keyword and press Enter.

How can I set up a separate page, some condition in the templates or something else, so that the results page appears? I didn't see Search or anything like that anywhere in the Exclude conditions.

I'm using BeTheme for a hotel website where the main products are hotel rooms. I've recently added a second product line (lifestyle products like pillows) and created two product categories:

1. Retreat (hotel rooms)
2. Living (lifestyle products like pillows)

Template Configuration:

I've configured 2 Templates for the Archive product type:

• Template 1: Design for "Retreat" product category (hotel rooms) and apply to All Archives
• Template 2: Design for "Living" product category (pillows) and apply to just the "Living" category

Current Behavior:

When configuring shop elements for Template 1 (rooms), I've discovered that:

• Shop Products > All Products (No Category): Filters Form works perfectly, BUT all products (including pillows) are displayed, which I don't want.
• Shop Products > All Products > Category = Retreat: Only hotel rooms display (correct), BUT the Filters Form stops working completely.

Expected Behavior:

I need the Filters Form to work when filtering by the "Retreat" category, so customers can shop and narrow down room choices without seeing lifestyle products.

I set my shop as catalogue mode using YITH plugin because BeTheme catalogue mode setting doesn't show attributes in product page.

(1) Is it possible to create a product carousel with selected products only (not just related or best sellers)?

(2) Please see screenshot attached. Is it possible not showing price? As it's a catalogue, not a shop?

I am experiencing an issue with the product image gallery on the single product page using BeTheme.

When I set the thumbnails position to "Outside", the thumbnails do not appear below the main product image. However, if I switch the setting to "Overlay", the thumbnails display correctly.

It seems that the images are present (since they appear when opening the zoom/lightbox), but they are not visible in the "Outside" layout.

I made one for Archives watching Your video for nested categories. Made one for single product pagem too. They are shown on screenshots.

Single product template is assigned to - Post type Product

But can not find option to asign template to Main shop page!? It looks diferent from Arcives!? See 03 and 04 attached imades.
