Remove subheader

I cannot remove the blue subheader. I have inserted the CSS code body:not(.template-slider) #Header { background-image: none; } but although it removes the background image, the blue sub header still appears every time. I would like the header without anything underneath.

The code you showed above removes background image totally. But if you want to change background color as well in header, then you need to use below css:

body:not(.template-slider) #Header { background-color: #E2E2E2; }

None of those 2 worked. I think that's the main thing bothering me and others with the theme, is that subheader, the blue part. The first css took the image away leaving a dark blue/black box. The second suggestion did nothing for me.

How do you get rid of it completely?

I just entered the same color as the background ! But I agree: Muffin Group should fix this in the next updates. That blue box is awful !

@jblions Please send us url to your website so we can have a look on what you mean. We need to confirm what header style you use and other things.

@ax2201 Can you also leave your url? So we can have a look on it as well. More urls with explanation = we can make option to remove it faster

I cannot give you the url now, because I've chosen to finally keep the background image ! But just in case it is www.nutrimassagem.com.br/cms and from then on all the pages which are still under construction. The problem is when you do not want a background image, a blue box systematically appears under the menu.

body:not(.template-slider) #Header { background-image: none; background-color: #FFFFFF; min-height: 160px; }

Maybe min-height attribute will be right for your needs. As you can see on http://forum.muffingroup.com/betheme/discussion/126/remove-space-where-header-image-was for other user it was helpful.

I agree, give us an option or by default remove this subheader image. It is unnecessary and really killing my site development time. here is a link to my site which i figured out how to get rid of it for homepage only, by importing demo theme. ONLY WORKS for homepage. link: www.ohioenergysupplier.com

I am alos working on same with www.texasenergysupplier.com and need to remove this subheader completely.

Also to NOTE: that code above doesn't remove the image, though you cannpt see it, your site still loads that image, making it that much slower to load.

I think my problem is similar to this.

When you click on the link below you'll see a white space beneath the header. I am trying to hide the subheader, but a portion of it is still showing.

@codecopyco The space you got, comes from header background. I you don't use any background images in header, you can activate "Minimalist" option under Theme options > Header & Subheader > Header section.

Hey there, also having an issue with the subheader not being removed on mobile of the website www.swedishtranslationservices.com - there is the dark gray space underneath the header that I want removed. Thank you!

Please go to theme options>header&subheader>header and set the minimalist options to 'minimalist without header space'
