keep getting double blog archives

Dear Support, 

I'm trying to duplicate the way you display the blogposts on: http://themes.muffingroup.com/be/press/category/lifestyle    With the filtering. 

I read the documentation and did find some information on how to create a blog page. After doing this I keep getting double loops for the blog. The regular one and the one I would like to have. 

What I did:

Made a new page named "blog". In this page I used the Muffin builder to add a blog widget and choose yes with the show filters. Except i dont see the filters when I open this page. 

Can you please tell me how I can get the same result as the demo?
