Different button's styles - how to do it?

I would like to use linear button without background (9th from the top), like here: http://themes.muffingroup.com/betheme/shortcodes/typography#buttons but still it works as default button (1st from the top). How to create that button with shortcodes? I was looking for the answer at documentation but witout success

button styles can be changed under Theme options > Global > General section.
