Odd Bullet Points and Other Issues

edited February 2016 in Other
Good evening! I recently purchased BeTheme and am very close to making it look the way I want it to! I am encountering a few technical issues, though, and I'm hoping you can provide support.

A post where you can see the issues I'm about to describe can be found here: http://paidmftinternships.com/job/support-counselor/

First, I'd like to point out the odd bullet points and grey box toward the top. The bullet points are in front of "San Francisco, CA" and "Posted 4 days ago". They're also on the home page when you look at certain elements ("Full Time", "Non-Supervised", etc.). I'm using the WP Job Manager plugin and have been using the plugin with another theme for almost 6 months. These bullet points are new. Therefore, I know these bullet points are coming from BeTheme, not the plugin. I have no idea how to get rid of the bullet points, though. Same deal with the grey box. It wasn't there before, and now it is (you can see it under the post title).

Second, you can see the left and right arrows near the top, which allow you to view the previous and next posts. I want to know how to get rid of those. They were also not present prior to installing BeTheme. The ones toward the bottom of the page are sufficient. The arrows at the top are redundant.

Third, when you go back to the home page and examine the banner, you'll see it looks slightly different compared to the other pages. I'm not sure why the banner is being "squished" ever so slightly on JUST the home page, and NOT the other ones. Again, this is an issue I've only started to encounter since installing BeTheme.

Finally, if you look at the website in desktop or mobile browsers, you'll see a large white gap between the header/menu and the content. It's even more pronounced with mobile browsers. I have no idea what's causing that and how to get rid of it.

Thank you in advance for any support that can be provided! :)

    Hi,

    1. These bullets does not come from our theme at all what you can see on http://pasteboard.co/1N335BUA.png - you need to contact with plugin's author in this case because there is nothing what we can do to help you.

    2. You can remove them with extra css:
    .post-nav { display: none !important; }
    3. Which banner you mean?

    4. This is header's background. To remove this section, you need to activate Minimalist header under Theme options > Header & Subheader > Header section.

    Good afternoon!

    1. Hmmm. That's weird, because it's an unordered list. It shouldn't create bullet points, and it never did before. Would you have any idea on how to make it so that unordered lists with BeTheme don't have bullet points? Maybe a change to the CSS?

    2. That did the trick, thank you! :)

    3. I figured out what was wrong! I had a custom layout selected for the home page, which was overriding the theme options and making the banner/logo at the top of the page look "squished" for some reason. Going back to the theme options resolved the issue. :)

    4. That did the track as well, thank you! :)
  • 1. Sorry but this can not be sorted on our side as it's not theme issue what we already proofed above. This need to be sorted on plugin's side.
  • Okay, I understand! :) Thank you!
