How to set product thumbnail size

Hi

I'm having a case of the image blurring issue. I've had a look at articles about choosing/setting the correct size and have done various tests. I'm referring specifically to the product list page. I've made my image sizes the same proportion as what Woocommerce displays it at, but 3 times larger to ensure great quality for testing purposes. For some reason the default image size that gets chosen automatically as the thumbnail is quite a small size 150x141px and i assume therefore the blurring as the image is scaled up to display larger than the chosen image. I can't choose the size that i want to use for the featured image from the Set featured Image dialog. How do I choose which image to use as the default size?
