Revolution Slider does not show up on automatically generated pages

I would like to have the revolution slider on all my pages, including blog, posts, author pages and events (generated by The Events Calendar plug-in).

I have included the code "[rev_slider alias="cities-slider"]" into BeTheme Options/Global/Advanced/Slider Shortcode field, which works well for all my manually generated pages. But the slider does not appear on the automatically generated ones. Why?

For "posts" I have found a workaround by manually adding a "posts" page and including the slider explicitely under Media/Slider/Revolution Slider. Any idea how to solve that issue for the other pages? Manually generating author pages doesn't work, unfortunately.
