Custom Post Type for Blog

Hello,

Is there a way to specify only a custom post type for the blog instead of all posts?  I have a custom post type called "news" and I want to only display these "news" posts on the blog page.

    Hey,

    the only thing to do that are "Categories". Each post must have category and then in Appearance > Menus section, when you click at "Screen options" in right top corner you must select "Categories" and after that you will be able to show posts from any categories you want. And as far as we know, this is the only possible way to do what you need.
