removing links (zoom / chain) from featured image

Hi there,

how can I remove the links that apperar when I hover over the feastured image on "post overview" page?

I would like to remove (or deactivate) the zoom-effect when hovering over the image...

Botttom line - what need to be changed via css to only have the image without extra function - so that the visitor only accesses the single post via 'read more'
