Main Menu z-index

I'm trying to get the revolution slider to butt up to the top of the home page and overlay the main menu on top with an opacity of .97 .

For some reason, the Z-index values aren't holding:

.header-stack #Top_bar { opacity: .97; z-index: 50;}
.mfn-main-slider {margin-top: -200px; z-index: -1;}

Any thoughts?

Hi,

Ok, now it works. So to do what you need, please activate Top Bar with Menu option under Theme Options > Global > General > Transparent section.
