My related posts do not seem to be pulling stories from the same category as the post it is found in. Is there away to adjust this?

Can you explain where did you saw such option? Because as far as we know, we don't have option to pull posts from the same category as the post is.

Related posts are the posts that comes from the same category as the post in which you currently are.

Ok thats my exact point. Maybe I wasn't clear. I have some instances where its not pulling posts from same category.
